  • Wheat flour – 1½ cups (210 grams)
  • Milk – 1 cup (240 milliliters)
  • Eggs – 2 units
  • Butter – 2 tablespoons (or softened margarine)
  • Sugar – 1 tablespoon
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Baking soda – 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla essence – 1 teaspoon

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

  1. Let's start this recipe in a blender or bowl, beating the liquid ingredients: milk, eggs, butter (or softened margarine) and vanilla essence.
  2. Then add the wheat flour and sugar and continue beating to incorporate and dissolve them, eliminating any lumps in the flour.
  3. Finally, add the yeast and baking soda, stirring just to mix – when these ingredients are combined, they can give a fluffier and lighter waffle!
  4. Then heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat or use a lightly greased normal frying pan.
  5. Once it is hot, fill the pan with a ladle full of waffle batter until the edges of the waffle are firm.
  6. Then just flip the waffle over and leave the other side for another minute. Keep removing it and cooking until the batter is gone.
  7. To finish and serve your pan waffle, fill it with the ingredients of your choice.
