- 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
- 1 yolk
- 150 g butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg yolk for brushing

- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- One chopped onion
- A chopped tomato
- 1 large jar of hearts of palm
- 1/2 cup (tea) of olives
- 1 can of peas
- 1/2 cup (tea) of parsley and chives
- 1 pot of creamy cottage cheese
- 1 tablespoon of wheat flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
Filling:
- The first step is to heat a pan with olive oil and sauté the onion with the chopped tomato and then fry these ingredients. Then, add the hearts of palm, peas, olives, salt and pepper and cook for a few minutes.
- Then, add the cream cheese, parsley, chives and flour, cooking for a few more minutes. Place in a container and set aside.
Pasta of the creamy palm heart pie:
- Start in a bowl by adding the wheat flour, butter, salt, egg yolk and yogurt and mix everything together with your hands. Let the mixture rest covered with a cloth for approximately 10 minutes.
- Then, roll out part of the dough using a rolling pin and then transfer it to a round baking dish with a removable bottom, spreading the cold filling that was resting.
- Finally, roll out the remaining dough to cover the entire pie, sealing it tightly so that none of the filling leaks out. Brush with a little egg yolk to give it a better finish and place in the oven preheated to 180ºC for 20 minutes.
