Homemade caprese pizza
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon chemical baking powder
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 egg
- 1 cup and ½ of wheat flour
- 1 cup of milk
Filling
- basil leaves to taste
- 1 Italian tomato, sliced into slices
- 200g buffalo mozzarella
- 3 spoons of olive pesto
- 1 cup grated mozzarella
- ½ cup tomato sauce
Method of preparation
Place all the dough ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth. Place the entire mixture in a baking dish greased with flour and butter, place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees, until completely baked it will take around 10 minutes.
Once the dough is baked, add the tomato sauce and mozzarella and spread well, then return to the oven for 5 minutes. With the mozzarella already melted, add the buffalo mozzarella, tomato slices, olive pesto and basil leaves.
It's ready to serve.
Panna cotta with boxed cream
Ingredients
Panna Cotta
- 1 envelope of unflavored colorless gelatin
- ½ cup of sugar
- 200 ml of milk
- 1 box of cream
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
Strawberry sauce
- ⅓ cup of water
- 250g of strawberries
- 4 tablespoons of refined sugar
Panna cotta preparation method
Wash the strawberries, remove the stems and chop into very small pieces. In a pan add the cream, milk, vanilla essence and sugar and mix well. Cook over low heat until the liquid heats up.
Before it comes to a boil, turn off the heat. Hydrate the gelatin and add it to the liquid in the pan, mix well without turning on the heat. In bowls or in a mold add the panna cotta.
While it cools, prepare the syrup.
Add all the syrup ingredients to a pan and cook for 10 minutes, stirring a few times. Once it reaches the consistency of syrup, turn off the heat and wait for it to cool. Take it to the fridge.
When the panna cotta and syrup are well chilled, cover with the strawberry syrup and it is ready to serve.
