In a large bowl, place the mixture of milk, oil and salt, and gradually add the wheat flour until the dough starts to come away from your hands.

Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rest for at least 1 hour to rise.

Flour a surface and roll out your dough, then add your filling, such as ham, cheese, tomato and oregano.

Once it is well stuffed, you will need to roll it up like a Swiss roll and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Use the egg yolk to brush over the top of your 'swirl rolls' and then bake until the top is golden.

Serve hot so the cheese can melt well, the bread will be fluffy and delicious.

2 – Gluten-free and lactose-free stuffed bread

Gluten-free and lactose-free stuffed bread is perfect for those who have dietary restrictions, but you don't want to give up eating a delicious bread roll in the morning or with your afternoon coffee.

Discover the ingredients:

  • 1 cup of sweet potato;
  • 1 egg unit;
  • 1 teaspoon of salt;
  • ½ cup of sweet cassava starch;
  • ¾ cup of rice flour;
  • 1 tablespoon of flaxseed flour;
  • ¼ cup of water;
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil;
  • 2 tablespoons of demerara sugar;
  • ½ teaspoon of biological yeast.

Start by cooking the sweet potato until it is soft enough to mash, to make a puree.

In a mixer, add the egg, sweet potato, flaxseed flour, water, yeast, sugar and olive oil, let it beat until it becomes a smooth and homogeneous dough.

With the mixer still running, but more slowly, gradually add the flour and salt. You will notice that the dough will start to get a little heavy, but this is normal for the recipe.

When it is smooth, the dough is ready for the next step. Separate the dough into the sizes you want, open it and add the filling you want, then close it into a ball.

Take these balls and place them in a greased and floured pan, let them rest again to rise a little more and then place them in a preheated oven at 180° for 40 minutes.

When it is golden and fluffy, it is time to remove it from the oven. Then you can serve it as you wish and eat delicious bread without worrying about stomach aches.
