To prepare this delicious chocolate dulce de leche pie recipe, you will need the following ingredients for the basis:
- 120g of crushed cornstarch biscuits;
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon;
- 70g melted butter.
For the filling, we will use these ingredients:
- 2 cans of condensed milk cooked in pressure for 40 minutes (to do the milk cream), and before opening, be careful not to explode. Ideally, they should cool completely first!;
- 1 envelope of colorless hydrated gelatin powder, melted in 5 tablespoons of water, or 75 ml;
- 350ml of fresh, chilled, whipped milk.
And finally, for the topping you will need these ingredients:

Base
With the cookies already crushed and the butter melted, mix all the ingredients together until you get a moist crumble. You can mix with a spatula or with your hands.
Take your baking tray or round pan, preferably with a removable bottom to make it easier to unmold your chocolate dulce de leche pie.
Place the pie base and press down firmly to make it tight, then place in the fridge for at least 15 minutes to firm up.
Filling
In a mixer, place the cooked condensed milk (dulce de leche) and beat until it starts to become creamier.
When you reach this point, add the whipped cream and stir gently until it thickens.
Once the mixture is well mixed, add the hydrated gelatin, still hot, to the mixture and set aside.
Roof
Melt the chocolate with ½ cup of cream and stir to prevent it from burning. Once you have a smooth, shiny syrup, it is ready.
After that, let it cool, but not enough for it to harden, otherwise you will have to melt it again.
Assembly
Finally, we come to the assembly of the chocolate dulce de leche pie, which is also very simple, just like its preparation.
Remove the base from the fridge and add the pie filling, smooth the surface so that it doesn't look different when you finish baking and put it in the fridge.
Leave for 15 to 30 minutes until firm and remove again. Then spread the chocolate coating on top, using a spatula to smooth it out again.
Place the remaining cream in a baking paper cone to decorate and make a spiral over the pie, from the center to the edges.
Decorate it however you like with a barbecue stick and then your pie will be ready.
