A homemade seasoning is a mixture of ingredients used to enhance the flavor of food. It can be made with herbs, spices and other ingredients, and is a personalized and healthy way to add flavor to your meals

1 – Simple homemade seasoning

To start making your seasoning you will need the following ingredients:

  • 500g of peeled garlic;
  • 75g of salt or 5 tablespoons;
  • parsley and chives to taste;
  • 180ml olive oil or oil, or ¾ cup.

The preparation is very easy, start by putting half the garlic in a processor or blender and blend, after it is well crushed, add the other half and blend for a while longer.

When it is more crushed, stir a little, add the olive oil or oil, whichever you prefer, and add the salt, beat a little more until it becomes pasty.

If you wish to use parsley and chives, add them to the processor and blend for a while longer.

Then, transfer the entire contents of the homemade seasoning to a clean glass jar with a lid.

2 – Seasoning for meat

Now let's look at a delicious seasoning that you can use to season red meat. Separate the following ingredients:

  • ½ cup of olive oil;
  • 4 tablespoons of coarse salt;
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • ½ tablespoon of coriander seed;
  • ½ tablespoon of thyme;
  • ½ tablespoon of dried rosemary;
  • ½ tablespoon of sweet paprika;
  • 2 medium onions cut into four pieces.

And you've probably never seen a recipe as easy as this: just put all the ingredients in a processor or blender, and put them in a container in the fridge for up to 30 days.

3 – Sweet and sour salad seasoning

If you want to spice up your salads, we brought you a more peculiar homemade seasoning. So if you like sweet and sour things, write down the ingredients:

  • 60ml of olive oil;
  • Salt and pepper to taste;
  • 30ml balsamic vinegar;
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg;
  • 1 dessert spoon of rosemary;
  • 20ml of honey or molasses, depending on your taste;
  • ½ dessert spoon of ginger in small cubes.

And to prepare, mix the vinegar with the diced ginger and nutmeg, then add a drizzle of olive oil and mix with a fork, do this until it is homogeneous.

When it is homogeneous, add the honey, rosemary, salt and pepper until the thick texture of the honey dissolves. It's that easy, it'll be ready soon!
