And this recipe will still help you on many occasions, especially when you feel like eating something sweet and you don't have condensed milk at home.

For it you will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 cup of milk tea;
  • 3 tablespoons of margarine or butter (it's up to you);
  • 1 cup of chocolate powder;
  • ½ cup of sugar.

And to start this very easy recipe, you will need to separate all the ingredients first, this leaves everything within reach and much more practical too.

Place a pan over low heat and add all the ingredients, stirring constantly until it turns into a thicker syrup.

Once you reach this point, you can turn off the heat and add whatever dessert you want.

If you prefer to add a little something extra to your plain chocolate topping, you can add a few squares of chocolate bar to make the flavor even more intense.

And if you want a more liquid coating, just add coconut milk, which in addition to making it more shiny will also make it more liquid.

Bonus: Vegan chocolate frosting

And we know that the option above is not vegan, mainly because it contains milk and margarine. But that doesn't mean there isn't a better option, right?

So for those who adopt the lifestyle of veganism, we have an option too.

For the ingredients you will need:

  • 2 cups of water;
  • 2 tablespoons of brown or coconut sugar, your choice;
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil;
  • ⅓ cup cocoa powder.

To prepare it, you will need to mix all the ingredients in a pan, put it on the heat and wait for it to boil.

As soon as it starts to boil, lower the heat a little and let the topping cook until it thickens a little. This can take up to 15 minutes and in the meantime you don't need to stir it as much, just from time to time.

If you don't want to wait 15 minutes, you can increase the heat, but in this case you need to stir constantly so that it doesn't burn and start to stick to the bottom.

This recipe is also suitable for vegans, lactose intolerants and those allergic to lactose as it does not contain ingredients of animal origin.

Now that you have two simple chocolate topping options, you can start enhancing all your recipes and desserts, whether for a special occasion or for everyday use.
