Choripan recipe with Tuscan sausage
And to prepare your Brazilian style choripan, you will need the following ingredients:
- 6 Tuscan sausages;
- black pepper to taste;
- parsley to taste;
- 6 French breads;
- 2 spoons of chimichurri;
- 1 spoon of mustard.
To prepare this recipe, start by removing the casing from the Tuscan sausage, that is, remove the thin, semi-transparent cover so we can get started.
In a pot, place the contents of the Tuscan sausage, parsley, mustard, chimichurri and pepper, this way you can prepare it and leave it well seasoned.
Cut your bread in half, remove the core and stuff it with seasoned Tuscan sausage outside the casing, called choripan.
Place on a barbecue or grill over low heat. Leave it for 6 minutes with the sausage side facing the coals, then leave it for another minute on the other side.
Finally, you can also add chimichurri on top to give it a little extra flavor, especially if you like this type.
As it is usually consumed on a barbecue, choripan can be accompanied by vinaigrette, made with lemon or vinegar, farofa and even different sauces such as garlic, which is also delicious.
Despite being extremely simple, Choripan is incredibly delicious, a very easy recipe to make and, of course, very popular.
