Mother's Day menu from starter to dessert!

Mother's Day menu with 3 dishes

We prepared a Mother's Day menu containing three different dishes, the starter, main course and dessert. These dishes can be prepared for lunch and even dinner.

If you want a more elegant starter, our idea is a bruschetta eggplant Mouth watering. For the ingredients you will need:

  • Salt, olive oil, coriander, black pepper and oregano to taste;
  • 1 large eggplant cut into slices;
  • 2 cloves of garlic, squeezed;
  • 1 large tomato, chopped into cubes;
  • 100g of mozzarella cheese.

Just like the ingredients, the preparation is also very simple, start by cutting your eggplants into slices and seasoning on both sides with salt and black pepper.

Once seasoned, place the slices on a baking tray evenly distributed, and bake at 200°C for at least 20 minutes.

While they are in the oven, take a bowl and add the tomatoes, garlic, coriander and oregano, season with a little olive oil, salt and mix well.

When you take the eggplants out of the oven, place this tomato mixture on top of each of the slices and cover with cheese. If you want, you can also sprinkle oregano to make it even tastier.

Then just put it in the oven until the cheese melts and your eggplant bruschetta is ready to serve.

Main course

The main dish will be a pepperoni risotto, something simpler, but still extremely tasty. See the ingredients:

  • 1 glass of dry white wine;
  • 1 sliced Calabrian sausage;
  • 1 cup of grated parmesan tea;
  • 1 liter of hot water;
  • 1 tablet of vegetable broth;
  • 2 tablespoons of butter;
  • ½ chopped onion;
  • 3 cups of arborio rice tea.

Separate the ingredients and start by dissolving the vegetable broth in hot water, melt one of the tablespoons of butter in a pan, add onion and olive oil, let it brown a little and add the rice too.

Let the rice fry a little and keep stirring, add wine and mix well. Add the pepperoni slices and let it fry a little.

Gradually add the vegetable broth and repeat the process until the rice is ready.

Lower the heat when ready and add the other spoon of butter and parmesan, mix well and it will be ready.

Dessert

Finally, for dessert, see a recipe for chocolate mousse, here are the ingredients:

  • 2 cans of cream;
  • 8 spoons of powdered chocolate, chocolate or other chocolate;
  • 1 package of unflavored gelatin powder;
  • 1 can of condensed milk.

In a blender, place the cream, chocolate powder and condensed milk to blend for about 2 minutes.

Melt the gelatin according to what is written on the package and add it to what was blended in the blender and beat for another 30 seconds, enough to mix.
