- 700g blackberries
- 400 g sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons of vodka
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
- Let's start the recipe by placing half of the blackberries in a blender and blending until they are completely dissolved. Transfer the mixture to a pan.
- Then, with the other half of the blackberries, blend in the blender on pulse mode and very quickly, just to leave the fruit a little broken up, but still with large pieces.
- Now in a pan, add the remaining blackberries and the sugar and lemon juice.
- Then, stir this mixture in the pan and then place it over high heat until it starts to boil, then lower the heat and continue to cook, stirring occasionally.
- Then add the Vodka and let it cook until it reaches jelly consistency, this takes around 25 minutes.
- While still hot, pour the jelly into jars with lids (sterilized) and seal them well. Place the jars upside down with the lids facing down until they can cool completely.
- Finally, simply store the jars in closed places and when you open them to consume the jelly, keep them in the refrigerator.
Additional Information: When foam forms on the surface, remove it with a spoon. This helps to make the jelly much shinier.
