Ingredients needed for easy cauliflower farofa:

  • 1 bunch of cauliflower (400 g)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves (15 g), chopped
  • 1 small onion (90 g), chopped
  • salt and freshly ground white pepper to taste

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

  1. First of all, put the cauliflower in the processor, pulse until it forms a very coarse crumb. Then, on a baking tray greased with half the olive oil, distribute the crushed cauliflower and place in the preheated oven at 160°C for 5 minutes.
  2. Then, remove from the oven to stir and return to the oven for another 5 minutes or until the cauliflower becomes a little dry and has a more golden tone.
  3. Right after that, in a frying pan, brown the garlic and onion with the remaining oil, mixing in the cauliflower. Finish, seasoning with salt and pepper to your taste and serve immediately.
