  • 1kg of roasted and ground rump steak;
  • oil;
  • 3 eggs;
  • ½ cup of breadcrumbs;
  • 1 tablespoon of water;
  • 1 chopped onion;
  • 2 cloves of chopped garlic;
  • salt to taste;
  • 1 cup of milk tea;
  • 6 tablespoons of wheat flour;
  • 6 tablespoons of butter.
  • 1 cup of chopped parsley;
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce;
  • black pepper to taste.

In a pan, place the butter, chopped onion and garlic, let it sauté well and then add the roasted rump steak.

Next, add the Worcestershire sauce, season the meat with salt and black pepper, stir well so that the meat absorbs the flavor of the seasonings and also add the chopped parsley.

In a pot, place wheat flour and milk, stirring well until the flour dissolves completely. Gradually add the flour and milk mixture to the pan and stir well.

Once everything is incorporated, transfer to a pot or bowl, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.

When it cools, remove it from the fridge and roll the dough into a croquette shape. They are usually made in a cylinder shape, but you can roll it however you like.

Set aside the rolled dough and let's start preparing the next part. In a bowl, mix a spoonful of water with 3 eggs and stir well, while in another bowl, add the breadcrumbs.

Start by passing your croquette through the breadcrumbs, then through the egg and through the breadcrumbs again.

Cover the croquettes with plastic wrap and place in the freezer for at least 2 hours to firm up. Finally, just fry them in hot oil and let them dry a little on paper towels.

After that, it will be more than ready to serve. If you are making it for parties, prefer to fry it just before the guests arrive, and if you are going to sell it, prefer to make it before sending the order or the person goes to pick it up.

And if you want to make something more unique, just modify the seasoning to suit your taste. Experiment and find out what works best to make your meat croquette even better.
