Ingredients to make one-pot lasagna:

  • 300 g pork sausage
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 unit of chopped onion
  • 1 unit of diced carrot
  • 200 g of peeled tomatoes (2 Cans)
  • 1/3 cup tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 15 sheets of lasagna noodles (pre-cooked)
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 500 g ricotta
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 300 g mozzarella cheese
  • 2 units of egg
  • Salt and black pepper

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

  1. Let's start by removing the membrane from the sausage and cutting it into small pieces. Then sauté the onion, carrot and garlic in olive oil until golden brown. Then add the sausage and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Then, add the other ingredients until the entire pan is covered and let it cook.
  3. So to make the cream cheese, beat the ricotta together with the parmesan cheese, eggs, salt and black pepper and nutmeg until it really turns into a cream.
  4. To assemble the lasagna, place 1 cup of the sauce in the pan and cover with the lasagna sheets, then spread the cream cheese and mozzarella. Repeat this order of layers, and finish with the mozzarella.
  5. Finally, cover the pan and let the pasta cook until it softens. If you notice that it is drying out, add water little by little. If you don't do this, the lasagna layer at the bottom of the pan may burn.
