  • Sugar – 1 and 1/2 teacups
  • Oil – 1/2 cup
  • Milk – 2 cups
  • Grated coconut – 1 teacup
  • Eggs – 3 units
  • Baking powder – 1 dessert spoon

How to prepare cornflake cake:

  1. Let's start this recipe in a medium saucepan by adding milk, oil, flakes and the sugar. Then, mix with a spatula and leave on a moderate heat until it boils. Once it boils, reduce the heat and cook for just 5 minutes.
  2. Once the dough is transferred to a large container, let it cool.
  3. After that, with the oven already preheated to medium temperature (175º), grease and flour your pan (20x30cm).
  4. Then, work on the dough that has already cooled and add the egg yolks and grated coconut, mixing them all together until they are well incorporated.
  5. Now when you beat the egg whites until stiff and mix them with the corn, gently add these egg whites to the rest of the batter.

CORN FLAKE CAKE WITH GUAVA

Ingredients:

For the cornflake cake:

  • Eggs – 4 units
  • Sugar – 1 and 1/3 cups (240 g)
  • Oil – 3/4 cup (180 mL)
  • Milk – 1 cup (240 mL)
  • Flakes – 2 and ½ cups (250 g)
  • Baking powder – 1 tablespoon (15 g)

For the syrup:

  • Chopped guava paste – 200 g
  • Water – 1/2 cup (approximately 120 mL)

Method of preparation:

Cake:

  1. First, place the eggs, oil, milk, sugar and corn flakes in a blender and beat for 3 minutes.
  2. Immediately after turning off the appliance, add the baking powder and mix using the spatula.
  3. Then pour into a greased and floured mold with a central hole (24 cm in diameter) and here you can use the release agent because the mold is well worked.
  4. Now with your oven preheated (200ºC) leave it for about 40 minutes or until you check by doing the toothpick test, seeing if it comes out without any traces.
  5. Turn off the oven and wait for it to cool down further before removing it from the pan.
  6. To finish, make the syrup by melting the guava paste and pouring it over the cake.

CORN FLAKE CAKE WITH CHEESE

Cornflake cake ingredients:

  • Corn flakes – 2 cups
  • Sugar- 2 cups (320 grams)
  • Milk – 2 cups (480 milliliters)
  • Wheat flour – 1½ cups (210 grams)
  • Grated cheese – 1 cup (cheese of your choice)
  • Oil – ½ cup (120 milliliters)
  • Eggs – 2 units
  • Baking powder for cake – 1 tablespoon
  • Guava paste (optional)

Method of preparation:

  1. Start blending all the items listed in the blender, adding the yeast.
  2. To avoid overloading your blender, first blend the milk with grated cheese, oil and eggs.

  • Fennel seed – 1 teaspoon
  • Eggs – 3 units

Method of preparation:
