  • 2 eggs
  • 75 milliliters of milk
  • 75 milliliters of oil
  • 80 grams of sugar (½ cup)
  • 100 grams of wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ tablespoon of yeast

To the roof:

  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • ½ tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 can of condensed milk

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

  1. Let's start with the topping, first place the can of condensed milk inside a pressure cooker and cover with water (without the label).
  2. Then let it cook for 30 minutes after the pan starts to release pressure. Wait for all the pressure to release and for the can to cool before opening the pan.
  3. Now make a mixture of sugar and cinnamon powder for the topping, set aside as you will sprinkle it at the end of the recipe.
  4. Now we move on to the cake batter, in which all the ingredients go into the blender and beat until it becomes consistent.
  5. Then, transfer the dough to a greased (butter or margarine) and floured pan and bake in a preheated oven (180° C) for 30 minutes. Do the toothpick test to check the cake.
  6. Once the cake has cooled, unmold it and pour the dulce de leche (it also has to be cold). Then, finish by sprinkling the sugar and cinnamon mixture on top to form a topping and your cake is ready!

Additional Information:

  • Milk cream: If you want to obtain a creamier dulce de leche, just beat it in a bowl using a spoon or wire whisk.
  • Shape: The ideal shape for the recipe is 17cm in diameter and 8cm in height, which makes a small cake.
  • Equipment: Mix the flour by hand in a separate bowl if your blender does not have enough power.
  • Ingredients: There are ingredients that not everyone likes, such as vanilla extract, which is optional, although it leaves a very interesting flavor. There is a quantity of cinnamon that leaves a light flavor, but add it to your taste!
