Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe

Starting with a basic strawberry ice cream recipe, the traditional one we already know.

To prepare it you will need only four ingredients and a blender. The ingredients are:

  • 1 can or box of condensed milk weighing 395g;
  • 2 and a half cups of chopped strawberries;
  • 2 boxes of cream;
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice.

In a blender, place the condensed milk, 2 cups of strawberries, the cream and the lemon juice, blend until it becomes a very homogeneous mixture.

Then transfer to a Pyrex or ovenproof dish, cover the pot with plastic wrap and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours.

When you remove it, put it back in the blender and add the remaining chopped strawberries. Put it back in the freezer for two hours or until it is firm and has the texture of ice cream.

Homemade lactose-free strawberry ice cream

And if you are someone who has dietary restrictions and cannot eat anything with lactose, we have a recipe for that too. After all, just because you have a problem doesn't mean you can't cool off.

The ingredients are:

  • 2 and ½ trays of strawberries;
  • 1 cup or 200ml of almond milk;
  • ½ cup of demerara sugar.

Start by cleaning and washing the strawberries well to prevent any bugs from contaminating the fruit, then chop them into small pieces.

In a blender, blend the two trays of strawberries and 100ml of almond milk until smooth.

Now you will need a pan, put the demerara sugar in it and heat it together with the other 100ml of almond milk, stir and let it boil until it turns into a thin syrup.

In a mixer, place the strawberry cream from the blender and start beating at a low speed, while gradually adding the syrup.

Beat until everything is incorporated and cooled, then transfer to a jar and place in the freezer for 4 hours or until hardened.

After this period, beat again until it becomes a homogeneous cream. This process must be done at least three times, and when it reaches the last time, add the chopped strawberries.

Once done, just serve your lactose-free ice cream and it will certainly be delicious and flavorful.
