Ingredients to make chocolate bar pudding:

  • Whole eggs – 3 units
  • Egg yolk – 2 units
  • Condensed milk – 1 can
  • Milk – 600 ml
  • Dark chocolate – 1 bar (160g – 180g)
  • Cocoa powder – 2 heaped spoons

For the syrup:

  • Milk – 2 glasses
  • Sugar – 10 spoons
  • Chocolate powder – 6 heaped spoons
  • Margarine – 1 heaped spoon (or butter)

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

Pudding:

  1. First, let your oven heat up and also grease a baking tray with butter and sugar.
  2. Then add the milk to a pan along with the chocolate bar and chocolate powder and cook over low heat until the chocolate melts completely.
  3. In a blender, beat the eggs, egg yolks and condensed milk well. Then add the milk and chocolate, beating for three more minutes.
  4. Then pour over the greased pan and place in the oven (250ºC), leaving it to bake in a bain-marie for 50 minutes or until it can set.
  5. Now a cream should form that when you gently shake the pan its consistency should be a little soft, but firm enough to unmold.
  6. Then, with the pudding already cold, use the tip of a knife to go around the edges and leave it to cool for at least 2 hours and then unmold it.

Syrup:

  1. For the syrup, add all the ingredients to a pan and cook over low heat, to prevent it from boiling over and until it reaches the desired consistency.
  2. Finally, when it reaches a point that resembles the texture of ice cream sauce, turn it off and pour it over the pudding.
