Ingredients for pasta with bolognese sauce and cream:

  • Pasta (spaghetti or tagliatelle): 1 packet
  • Ground beef: 450 g
  • Tomato sauce (Hemmer or Pomorola): 450 g
  • Butter: 100 g
  • Cottage cheese: 1 small pot
  • Creamy cheese: 1 pot
  • Cream: 1/4 cup
  • Grated cheese: 200 g

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

  1. Start the recipe by preheating the oven to 180° and putting a large pot on the stove to boil water with a pinch of salt.
  2. Next, cook the pasta for about 12 minutes, stirring frequently. We want it to be “al dente” (this is when it is cooked more firmly). Then drain and set aside.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat to sauté the meat in the hot skillet, cooking for 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown and the meat has lost its reddish appearance (discard any remaining fat).
  4. Then mix the tomato sauce and ground beef in a bowl and in another bowl make the cream cheese, mixing the cream cheese, sour cream and cottage cheese until everything is well mixed.
  5. Now, cut small pieces of butter (or margarine) and pour half of these pieces into the bottom of a ceramic or glass dish with a minimum diameter of 30×20 cm.
  6. Then transfer half of the pasta to this dish and cover the pasta with the cream cheese. Place the remaining pasta on top of the cream cheese and spread with the remaining butter.
  7. Finally, add the Bolognese sauce and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Immediately after removing from the oven, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for another 15 minutes or until golden brown on top. Serve immediately.
  • Additional Information: Homemade pasta, as it is fresh pasta, absorbs even more sauce than dry pasta, which is why we use it.
