3 simple and cheap snack recipes

Let's get to know some snack recipes to liven up your night out with friends or to eat when you're in the mood for something silly.

1 – Mozzarella sticks

  • 1 piece of mozzarella;
  • ½ cup of wheat flour;
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs;
  • 2 eggs.

This recipe is extremely easy to make, and to start, slice the mozzarella into 12 equal pieces, or as similar as you can.

Leave the sliced mozzarella separate, meanwhile separate three plates and place the eggs, breadcrumbs and wheat flour on each of them respectively. They need to be separated.

With the 12 pieces of mozzarella, first dip in the egg, then in the wheat flour, in the egg again, dip in the breadcrumbs, again in the egg and finally in the breadcrumbs again.

Repeat this process with all the mozzarella pieces and place them on a baking tray to place in the freezer for 25 minutes.

After this time, fry them over high heat and be careful not to burn yourself with the oil. Easy, isn't it?

2 – Coalho cheese snack

  • ½ liter of whole milk;
  • 1 teaspoon of salt;
  • 250 grams of granulated tapioca;
  • 400 grams of grated coalho cheese;
  • olive oil to taste.

In a pot, place the tapioca, cheese, salt and set aside. Moving on to the next step, boil the milk and pour it over this mixture, then stir well and set aside again.

Set aside a mold or baking tray and line both the bottom and sides with plastic wrap, pour the dough into the mold and place in the fridge to harden.

When it is hard, cut it into cubes or whatever shape you want and brush each piece with olive oil.

In the preheated oven for 10 minutes, take your snacks and bake until they are golden.

3 – Fried polenta

  • 1 teaspoon of salt;
  • 3 chopped garlic cloves;
  • ½ chopped onion;
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil;
  • 2 cups of cornmeal tea;
  • 300ml of cold water;
  • 700ml of warm water.

In a bowl add the cold water and cornmeal, mix and set aside for now. Place a pan with olive oil, onion, garlic over low heat and sauté until golden.

Add the cornmeal and water mixture to the pan, add the salt and hot water as well and stir continuously for 25 minutes.

Once this is done, proceed to Cooked Corn Meal onto a baking sheet or bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours.

When you take it out of the fridge, cut it into strips or squares and coat it with cornmeal. Then just put a pan on the fire with oil, wait for it to heat up and fry each of your strips until they are golden.

Finally, just serve! Each of these snacks is simple and cheap to make, as well as extremely practical for any night with friends.
